Who I AM

“The awareness of Who I AM was the result of learning and deciding who I am NOT.”  

I spent the first 27 years of my life disguising myself, the next 10 years searching for myself, and the last 15 years - creating Who I AM.  My intention for the next 20 to 40 years - Loving WHO I AM.  My commitment to my personal growth and Being an expression of Love allows me to define Who I AM as the greatest possible version of WendyLynn in the making.

Hi!  I am WendyLynn

I was born in New Orleans Louisiana in 1969.  At the age of 40, I graduated, Summa Cum Laude, from the University of New Orleans with special focus in Psychology and Philosophy.  In the fall of 2008, I received my Empowerment Life Coaching Certification from iPec (Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching) and also completed the Life Potentials Certification Program and the Energy Leadership Program. I spent the next few years writing and growing. In 2011, I published my Truth And Dare Empowerment Coaching Curriculum for Teens and my book The Undivided Self followed shortly after.  In 2016, I moved to Arizona to pursue my dream of Living an Authentic, Loved filled, Purpose Driven Life with my husband Gerald and my two boys.

As far back as I choose to remember, which was about 1998 when I died on the table giving birth to my youngest son, I have always been an avid reader of personal growth books and attended every workshop I could find and afford! I doubt that will ever change. The one Truth or take away I get from every book I read and almost every experience I have had is that “All personal growth is, in Truth, personal’ity’ growth!” So, in 2019 I mustered up the courage to take the IEQ9 Assessment - which turned out to be not only the best Personality test I had ever taken, but also the best tool for growth and personal development I have ever worked with - BY FAR. So, Yep - I had to go get another degree and went through the Integrative Enneagram Practitioner’s Certification Program and I still use the IEQ9 with all my clients today! 

As a life coach, it is my business to support, encourage, align, empower, validate, awaken, elevate, motivate, educate, inspire, assist, respect, challenge, celebrate, and appreciate my clients.  In my business, there can be no personal judgments, manipulation, persuasion, or negativity.   I believe that the coach client relationship must remain healthy, productive, and empowering in order to be effective.

As a writer, it is my goal to grow through my work and to exemplify what I have learned.  I aspire to enlighten, encourage, and empower my readers through books focused on Self-Awareness, Self-Love, and Self-fulfillment through Personal Growth.
